August 17, 2024

The second annual Women in Agriculture Conference will be held on Sept. 10th and 11th in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards, Fort Worth, Texas.

The two-day event is designed to assist farm and ranch women with problem solving, record keeping and decision-making skills. The conference will cover topics designed to help them with financial sustainability, management resources, risk management, legal and liability issues, family financial planning and ranch management.

Feature topics that will be included this year include ag valuation, agrotourism, estate planning, accounting records and taxes, and a session on personal resource management

In addition, there will be an evening event designed to facilitate networking, while having fun in the historic setting.

The conference is inspired by the very successful Annie’s Project, which provides educational programs to strengthen women’s roles in the modern farm/ranch enterprise.

For information visit https://agrilife.org/urbantarrantag/  or the Facebook page Tarrant Co-Ag & Natural Resources Fort Worth TX. Hotel and registration can be accessed at Women in Ag at www.eventbrite.com.
