The 3rd Annual Women in Agriculture Conference will be held on Sept. 9 and 10 in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards. The two-day event, hosted by Texas A&M AgriLife Tarrant County’s Agriculture and Natural Resources Agent, Jacklyn Jones-Doyle, is designed to assist farm and ranch women with problem solving, record keeping and decision-making skills. The conference will cover topics designed to help them with financials sustainability, management resources, risk management, legal and liability issues, family financial planning, estate succession and ranch management. The conference is inspired by the success of Annie’s Project, which provides education programs to strengthen women’s roles in the modern farm/ranch enterprise.

In addition, an evening of fun and networking is planned so attendees can explore the Historic Stockyards and all it has to offer.

For more information, visit https://agrilife.org/urbantarrantag/ or Facebook page Tarrant Co-Ag & Natural Resources. Hotel and registration information can be accessed at Eventbrite.com by searching 3rd Annual Women in Agriculture.
