MAS adds five new members

“Marketing American Simbrah “MAS” has added five new members to our group – Wentz Farming Co., Bet M Ranch, Tres Potrillos, Rafter M and Smith Genetics.  These five members have all played a positive role in the success of our four previous MAS events and are some of Simbrah’s leading breeders,” according to MAS Coordinator, Carlos X. Guerra.
    The MAS Simbrah Sale and $15,000 Showdown V is scheduled for March 26th and 27th.  There will be over 175 lots of Simbrahs, Simmentals, Simbraviehs and Polled Brahmans selling.  Juniors who have bought their projects from MAS members will compete for $15,000 in premiums.  La Muneca juniors will compete for over $7,500 in premiums at the LMC Jackpot on March 26th.  Thunder Cattle Co. will also host their annual junior event on the 26th and award lots of prizes as well.
    “MAS has awarded over $80,000 to juniors, has raised over $160,000 for different charities, scholarships and breed promotion.  667 lots have sold for a gross of $1,725,114 for a $2,586 average with one-third of those being yearling bulls.  A good Simbrah bull market has been established at MAS.  MAS supporters enjoy great South Texas hospitality for four days, prior, during and after the events.  The Who’s Who of Simbrah show up to visit with both old and new Sim-genetic enthusiasts knowing that this is the best attended Simbrah event of the year,” stated Guerra.
